Homebwoi’s Holiday Celebration was born from a simple idea with a big heart: give grown hip-hop lovers—especially those in their late 30s and beyond—a night that feels like it was made for them. Not a throwback, not an afterthought. An elevated, authentic experience. So we brought the live band energy into hip-hop culture, layered in soulful R&B, and put major artists and independent local talent on the same stage—because the legends inspire the city, and the city deserves a spotlight.
The response was instant: year one sold out, year two sold out. As crowds grew, so did the dance floor needs—so this year, we’re moving to a larger space, giving the DJ more time to keep the floor moving, and curating even more quality performances.
This platform is for people who’ve felt hip-hop has left them behind—and for new artists who deserve the spotlight. We’ve welcomed T-Rock, 4-Ize, Dyce Payne, and Bone Crusher. This year, Pastor Troy takes it higher. Grown Folks Music at its Best.
